Welcome to Thief, the video game. A reboot to the original series, Thief centers around the character Garrett, a master thief. Alongside him is his prodigy named Erin. Working one mission together things go on the wrong side and Erin life is in danger. To the rescue is Garrett but things go south. After some time, Garrett returns to the city only to find it under turmoil and with a new "watch", a term referring to the night watch and guards who will not tolerate any criminal activity. Garrett only remembers that on his last mission Erin was in danger and that she was going to die. The more that Garrett discovers information from the missions he goes on as well as the information coming from "the Queen of Beggars" Garrett is led to believe that Erin is still alive. The question remains whether Erin is the same Erin that Garrett lasts remembers working alongside him.

As a master thief, there are three approaches to this game. You can choose to be a ghost, an opportunist, or a predator. Loot as much as your heart desires but always stay in the shadows and be aware of your environment.
