Meeting the Community: DataCite Strategic Initiatives to Support Award, Project & Sample Workflows

To advance research, DataCite Members deal with a growing number of different types of research outputs and resources—from award granting and application, to research project management and sample collection, management, and preservation. Through strategic initiatives, dedicated projects, and consultation with our community, DataCite has been exploring various ways to support these efforts.

Join this session to get an update on some of DataCite’s latest strategic initiatives to build proof-of-concept workflows and pilots, and develop the DataCite Metadata Schema. Learn about how PIDs and metadata can make output tracking and reporting processes easier for funders and PIs, and boost the efficiency of sample management workflows.
