Rewatched some Rick and Morty and was seeing some of these theories around. Did the story train episode show us future canon?
Things like Evil Mr. Poopybutthole, and the Evil Morty army standoff.

Back in the storytrain episode, Story Lord saps Rick and Morty's limitless story potential.
While being sapped, Morty asks if the stuff is canon, to which Rick replys (clip)

During these apparently non-canon segments, we see plenty of canon callbacks,
as well as hints towards what happened later in the season.
Things like the Smart Robo Suit Dogs, and the Phoenix Person fight.
During one of the segments, we see Rick getting sad that Summer is leaving for college,
with Morty saying (clip)

This could hint towards Rick's character development
and more compassionate self we saw while Rick was partnered with 2 crows.
After that we see a scene where Abradolf Lincler comes back saying that he's very alive.
After this Rick says that Story Lord is taking the good stuff,
maybe hinting that Lincler will come back eventually.
Story Lord turns a knob to increase the marketability, and broad appeal of the sapped stories,
and when this happens,
we see Snowball and his army, fighting an army of Robo suit cats,
maybe inferring that Snowball and the other ogs wil come back to the series eventually,
We also see Rick and Phoenix Person in a fight, and Summer and Tammy having a Star Wars battle,
fully hinting at the (star wars clip) episode that we got as the Season 4's finale.
Then, we see the Evil Morty segment, with an army of Gazorpazorps,
Mr. Meeseeks, an army of what we can infer to be Robot Rick's, and an evil Mr. PoopyButthole.
This hints toward the Season 5 finale of Evil Morty himself being back,
but also in the after credits scene for the Season 5 finale,
Mr. PoopyButthole wonders if there's an evil him.
Almost everything in this segment was made up of, or lead to estabished canon.
This makes me think we are definitely seeing some form of that final scene with the standoff.
Some final fight that we are going to see, bringing back a lot of plot points, for instance,
what if this evil Mr.PoopyButthole is the same one we know, and he finally got sick of Rick,
especially with Rick causing him to lose his job by fighting his students,
and brought his marriage down with it.
We could easily see him snap,
blame everything that happened on Rick,
and turn into the purple Darth Maul we see him as.
This is also implying that Evil Morty is going to come back for an actual fight.
The Season 5 finale was just his plan, but we don't know if that's really all he wanted to do.
He could still have unfinished business to come back for, i.e. finally totally destroying Rick.
