Mittenwald, Bravarian Alps walking tour | Solo hiking to Lautersee

Mittenwald is a market town in the Upper Bavarian district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the upper Isar valley , about 80 kilometers south of Munich between the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains and immediately on the border with Austria . The place is Germany's highest climatic health resort . The Mittenwald Karwendelbahn is the second highest in Germany.
