Finally, be kind to yourself. If you find that other people’s opinions still affect you, don’t beat yourself up for it. We’re all human, and it takes time to undo patterns of giving away power. The key is to practice self-compassion along the way. Understand that you’re on a journey of self-empowerment, and each step forward is progress. Celebrate your growth, no matter how small.
In the end, the power others have over you is only as strong as the power you give them. By learning to validate yourself, set boundaries, and shift your focus inward, you can reclaim control of your emotions and live with more freedom and peace. It’s time to own your power.
