DIY How to Make Fabric Coasters | Mug Mats | 2 Shapes | Sewing Tutorial | Bravo Dada

In today’s video I’m going to show you how to make fabric coasters in two shapes: round and square with rounded corners. They make a great gift for friends and family.

Important note: I use the metric system and make the exact conversion from cm to inches in the hope of helping. Please adapt these measurements to your ruler.

Fabric measurements for the round coaster:
- 2 fabric circles with a diameter of 11.5cm / 4 17/32”.

Fabric measurements for the square coaster with rounded corners:
- 2 fabric pieces: 11.5cm / 4 17/32” x 11.5cm / 4 17/32”.

Polyester batting measurements:
- 2 fabric circles with a diameter of 11.5cm / 4 17/32”;
- 2 fabric pieces: 11.5cm / 4 17/32” x 11.5cm / 4 17/32”.

Needle size:
- 90/14.

Seam Allowance:
- 0.7cm / 9/32”.
