The Great Prince and Bambi's mother grew up together since fawns. They fell in love and had a fawn of their own. However one day Bambi and his mother are out in a field and a hunter comes. His mother dies and the Great Prince takes in Bambi. Much to his dismay and mourns the death of his love.
