In 2020, Washington, D.C. was emptier than usual. Because of the pandemic, travelers spent more time in rural areas such as National Parks and cities didn't have as many tourists in them. That made 2020 a great time for photography in Washington, D.C. This video is an attempt to show Washington, D.C. through my eyes during that year.
Note: the first half of 2020 was significantly "emptier" than the second half.

This video includes photos and timelapses from places like the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the US Capitol building, the Supreme Court, the White House, Rock Creek Park and more. I always loved documenting those areas at sunrise and sunset.

Now that I live further away I don't spend quite as much time in the city!
