I had filmed a review of this model and the review of this was meant to be uploaded but i didn't feel like editing or uploading the review of this in the end so instead bunged the footage of this new arrival running on the layout together for a running session style video instead

I have done reviews on Hornby A4s 3 times before anyway, so i didn't think there was much need really to review one for a fourth time

Here we have the latest arrival to join my collection Hornby A4 no. 2509 'Silver Link' this model was released in 2010 to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Silver Jubilee service and only 1100 of these models were made

Originally i had planned to get the new LNER Apple Green A4 model of Woodcock but then i remembered Hornby had made a super detail model of Silver Link some years ago so decided to do some mooching around on eBay and as by chance stumbled across one brand new never run or never been out of the box for £159, i jumped at the chance to have in my collection as i would have been a fool not to

I have long wanted a model of Silver Link in this livery and to finally own one is like a dream come true
