Security logs show forced entry to the costume warehouse on August 7th, 1962—just 48 hours after Marilyn died. FBI agent Gerald Thornton's name appears in declassified files related to Kennedy-Marilyn surveillance, and he kept this costume and note locked away until his death in 2005.
