Recently our #PenrithLawyers attended Penrith Local Court on a Middle Range #DUI offence. The blood alcohol reading was 0.082.

Our client had extensive criminal history and a number of major traffic matters on his history which declared him as a habitual traffic offender around 12 years ago.

In spite of this challenging criminal and traffic history we were able to present a compelling case on sentence which saw the Court grant our client the indulgence of a Conditional Release Order under section 9(1)(b) of the Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Act 1999.

This meant our client could resume driving but he was placed in a good behaviour bond for 2 years.
