Note: This was recorded when there was a bug with Muspellskoll where he will possibly heal to 50% multiple times instead of just once when low health. This run should have only taken 13:35 on my Whitesmith. Bug is already fixed!

Alfheim just released their Rock Ridge content update. Part of the update is a huge Aco/Priest rework and an overhaul of a lot of early-game leveling areas and paradise-style quests and bounties.

The MvP Muspellskoll is also part of this update. There is a short unlock quest that leads you into the depths of Magma dungeon to take him on. There is a solo mode, a normal mode (party), and a hard mode (party). This is a new type of MvP in RO as he has a stagger bar! Meleeing this fire pup without him being fully staggered first is not advised!! Avoid his telegraphed attacks (Fire Rain and his Impact Dash) to build up stagger, but you can't just keep kiting forever either. He will periodically start a cast to charge himself up. Getting hit by the telegraphed attacks will also charge him up. When he is fully charged he will unleash an arena-wide meteor rain attack called Flame Spitter Howl that is super hard to dodge and can't be tanked. Using any kind of ranged attacks at your disposal (even Tomahawk or Throw Stone from Stapo Cards!) to interrupt the charge cast will stop him from getting stronger and also stagger him a bit more. He will also become shielded and spawn Lava Pits to try and channel power into himself. Break the fire pits or he will charge himself up a lot!! When he is fully staggered he will be unable to fight back and will take more damage from attacks, so this is your time to go all out!!
