43rd Annual Convocation Sri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector - 26 Chandigarh, April 29, 2023

Sri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector 26, Chandigarh, held its 43rd Annual Convocation Ceremony on April 29,2023 to confer degrees to the students of 2021-22, 2020-21, 2019-20 batches. Over 1500 students across all Postgraduate and Undergraduate Courses received their degrees. Dr Navjot Kaur, Principal, presented the Convocation Report highlighting the various achievements of the students and faculty of the College. The Convocation Address was delivered by the Chief Guest, Prof Rajeev Ahuja, Director, Indian Institute of Technology (IT), Ropar. He emphasised that students should utilize their education optimally and hone their scientific temperament and research acumen. With the incentive to promote entrepreneurship and critical thinking among the students, The Guests of Honour for the occasion were Sardar Gurdev Singh Brar, IAS (Retd) President SES, Col (Retd) Jasmer Singh Bala, Secretary, SES and Advocate Karandeep Singh Cheema, Joint Secretary, SES. They congratulated the students on their achievements and wished them success in their future endeavours. The ceremonial gathering was a resounding success, and the students were filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
