Hon. Shri Rajsaheb Shrikant Thackeray is an Indian Politician and the Founder & President of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).
Through his political party, he has always been raising voice against the injustice to the ‘Marathi Maanus’. Formerly he was a part of Shivsena founded by Shri. Balasaheb Thackeray. On 9th March,2006 he created his own political party but he also stated that Shri. Balasaheb Thackeray “was, is and always be his mentor.”
His speeches have always been attractive and promising to the local audience. May it be the local issues like water shortage, bad condition of the roads, sewage management etc. his party has shown active participation and is always committed to its responsibilities. His party has proved it several times that dedication towards development definitely leads to success.
One of the finest example is #Nashik. Their works include: 1)Purification of drainage water and then releasing it into the river making it usable for agriculture too.
2)Proper sewage management and converting it into fertilizer, GPS tracking system available on sewage pickup vans.
3)Water Curtains on the Flyover and a 100ft Water Fountain in the flowing waters of #Godavari River.
4)Beautiful Botanical Garden (Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Van Udyan) which includes the best nature experiencing facilities for the visitors, laser show for educating the importance of trees.
5)#Shri. Balasaheb Thackeray Smaarak, a tribute to the great leader. This place will give you the presence of the revolutionary Chhatrapati. Shivaji Maharaj who fought for the self-esteem of the Marathas. Beautiful artwork on his life expresses the challenges, sacrifices and success achieved by him. A replica of the ‘Jagdamba’ sword of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has been created and kept along with weapons used at that time in wars in ‘Shastra Sanghralay’
6)510 kms of network of roads in Nashik have been developed.
A #Traffic Education Park has been setup so as to educate children the right way of discipline on the roads.
7) Water Purification Project has been setup with a capacity of 2 million litres for the purification of water coming from the Gangapur Dam. It goes through Five steps of purification and only then it reaches people. This project has solved all problems related with water.
8)#Mukne Dam Project has solved the issues of water shortage for the city for the next 30 years.
They believe that such progress is possible in Nashik, then it is definitely possible in the state of Maharashtra.

According to Shri. Rajsaheb Thackeray every single citizen living in the city should be pleased with the work and be free from all sorts of cheating and injustice. ‘Maharashtra’ is a holy state which was shaped by Chhatrapati. Shivaji Maharaj and every Maharashtrian should be proud of his valour.
