Mark Abernathy is the owner and executive chef of Local Luna and Red Door restaurants in Little Rock, Arkansas. He’s been named one of the most influential chefs in the US and featured by Food Network, The New York Times, Bon Appetit, Southern Living, The Washington Post, and other outlets. Abernathy has more than 50 years of experience in the restaurant industry and vast experience hosting televised cooking demonstrations, participating in food festivals, and contributing to nationally renowned cookbooks. Abernathy remains committed to his community in Little Rock and spends his spare time with family or making music.

Raised in Arkansas, chef Micah Klasky discovered his passion for food in his granny’s kitchen. He spent his days watching her cook traditional Southern fare, igniting his lifelong interest in food. After gaining experience across the country, learning from decorated chefs like Cassidee Dabney and Matthew McClure, Klasky was named executive chef of The Hive at 21c in Bentonville. Klasky promotes a taste of the unique culinary identity of “high South” cuisine that Arkansas is known for. He strives to cultivate an exemplary experience, maintain a respectful and inclusive environment for his staff, and craft unique and sustainable dishes for The Hive.
