Horse Braiding Tutorial - Diamond Braid a Mane

In this horse braid tutorial I will teach you how to diamond braid a horse’s mane (also called the Lattice Braid or Continental Braid). Princess has a long mane, but your horse or pony doesn’t need to have quite so much hair! I’m not really braiding for this unique horse hairstyle, it takes time, but is very easy. The diamond braid is a perfect “western braid” for horses with long manes. If you have a Gypsy Vanner you are showing in western pleasure or a taking a Reining Horse at a futurity show, the diamond braid will definitely catch the judge’s eye!
