The Wellington is one of the main locations in which Anne accused the witches of gathering in 1673, and the building in which she is said to have been found hanged after her accusations were dismissed. According to some, she has never left: there have been many reports over the years of her ghost being seen here, as well as other strange and inexplicable events.
