Originally shipped as just "Fable", Big Blue Box's first big title was their first big hit. As a subsidiary of Lionhead Studios, Big Blue Box had a big name to live up to.

This action-packed role-playing game shipped nearly 400,000 copies in its first week - and 3 million copies world-wide to date. Dubbed a success for the studio, two variations where built and shipped within the next four years. The version you see in this video, is "The Lost Chapters" which was released in 2005. The Lost Chapters contains additional armor, weapons and side-quests not available originally.

Following in the footsteps of the original release, Fable: The Lost Chapters also saw critical success leading to a MacOSX port and eventually a remastered variation "Fable: Anniversary Edition".

Fable, Fable: The Lost Chapters, and Fable: Anniversary Edition have all received relatively high reviews from critics. Frequently, critics praise the game's cohesive story, action-packed combat and exciting world lore. However, it is occasionally noted that the executives (namely Lionhead Studio's CEO) over-hyped the title and may have convinced the buyer they where getting more features than where actually shipped.

Regardless of the critical reception, this title is an excellent option for any RPG fan - and should probably be in your Steam library if you consider yourself one for a good storyboard and an exciting, vibrant world!
