No Post dental core build-up: the Internal adhesive ferrule

This video describes the clinical steps of postless reconstruction of an endodontically treated tooth, managing both root canal treatment and core construction. Its originality lies in the immediate sealing of the dentin, before proceeding with the root canal treatment. The tightness and the dentin bond strength is thus the best (because the collagen has not been degraded by the endodontic products), which participates in the strengthening of the tooth by creating an internal ferrule. This technique has been first published in 2014 by De Rose (Ivo Krejci's team, Geneva University), then described and experimented more in details in 2021 and 2022 by M de Carvalho et al (Pascal Magne's team, South California University).
