Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin, the chief religious leader of the Dawoodi Bohra society spread throughout the world, was born in Surat in 1915. His Walid Saheb His Holiness Dr. Syedna Taher Saifuddin had insisted that his son be the forerunner of the honor and reputation of the Fatami feast (the mission of Imam which is run by al-Dai-al-Mutalak).
