When someone has chest pain, inflammation, cough, sleeplessness, etc., they meet with a doctor, and doctors perform some lung tests; these tests detect if you have lung disease. Some tests were performed for these symptoms, named as chest X-ray test, HRCT test, spirometry test, PFT test, and bronchoscopy test. One of these tests shows if you have lung fibrosis or not.

Lung Fibrosis has 3 stages, and each stage will be discussed in detail.

1. In this stage, swelling can be seen near the neck inside the lung's limp knot. Due to swelling, you may feel breathlessness, cough, pain, etc.

2. If not treated on time, lung condition worsens, and patches can detect in the lungs. The patient can be hospitalized and may need external oxygen for breathing, and you live on daily medications.

3. In 3rd stage of lung fibrosis, the lungs start to damage, wounds can be seen, and the patient has to admit to ICU for further treatment. Reversal of 3rd stage of lung fibrosis is not possible.
