Parents: Did you know that unless you act NOW, most schools can share detailed information such as your child's email, home address, and even their weight and date of birth? Schools can hand this so-called directory information to anyone without your consent.

You have a RIGHT to opt your child out of information sharing. A federal law gives parents and students the ability to STOP schools from sharing a student’s directory information with most third parties. Students over 18 can opt themselves out.
