Farmers From Punjab, Haryana, UP and Karnataka are protesting against the three contentious Farm Bills passed in parliament while Modi Govt calls it watershed moment for Agri Reforms. Farmers are strongly opposing the new bills. They are demanding that Govt should roll back the bills. Farmers in Punjab protested at various locations. Kisaan unions have planned Bharat Bandh. Some farmers sat protested through ""Chakka Jaam"". Highways leading to National capital have been blocked by protesting farmers.
Some Farm unions have also called for Rail Roko. Farmers in UP's Hapur and Karnataka's Bengaluru too protested the bills, shouting slogans against the Modi Govt.
Punjab's popular singer too joined the protest. However, acts of kindness were visible as at many protest sites Farmers made way for ambulances to pass. The punjab farmers have decided to launch indefinite Rail Roko from october 1. Congress, AAP, BJP Ally SAD have also extended support to Farm Protests.
