Lec19 - Rigid Body Planar Kinematics (Theory) Relative Velocity

Описание к видео Lec19 - Rigid Body Planar Kinematics (Theory) Relative Velocity

Note: when using the lightboard (i.e. the portions with Dr. Reckinger writing on a glass panel using fluorescent markers), the right-hand-rule for cross products gets tricky. This is because the lightboard technology flips the orientation of the video. So, in this video (and the others that follow in this playlist), Dr. Reckinger uses his right hand to show the vector orientations, BUT it appears he is using his left-hand. This again is a result of the orientation flipping in the post-processing of the video. The recommendation for the audience is to MIRROR what Dr. Reckinger does using his apparent left-hand with your right-hand. Then, when Dr. Reckinger gets a vector direction pointing outward towards him, you should also get a vector pointing outwards toward you.
