Your cycling helmet is the most important piece of gear to ensure a safe and confident ride! A properly fitted helmet (especially one with MIPS technology) prevents severe brain injury in the case of an accident while keeping you comfortable and looking good. In this one-minute video, we share five easy steps to help you get the perfect bike helmet fit:

1. Make sure the size is snug yet comfortable.
2. Position it level on your head, with two finger-widths between your eyebrows and the helmet.
3. Adjust the side straps to form a "V" below your ears.
4. Buckle and tighten the chin strap.
5. Tighten the retention system in the back.
