What is Maya? A lot of people have lots of apprehensions and wrong beliefs about the definition of "Maya". They think that a female or money is "Maya". No, its wrong. Then what is "Maya". Kabir Sahib says that our body and "Maya" are the same. Why does he mean? He means that every thing in our body is made of 5 elements each of which are destructible. From outside, every thing seems to be permanent in our body but it is not so just like a palace that we see in our dreams. Till we are seeing the dream we keep believing that the palace is real but the moment we wake up this palace no more seems like a reality. In the same way every thing in our body and the world around us seems to be a reality despite knowing that everything will perish one day.
