Well I guess I have some explaining to do. You don't have to read this if you don't care.
Yes, the upload schedule is horrendous. I originally planned to take 2 months off to focus on my final exams. I also originally planned to upload 3 videos at the end of summer. Here we are 5 months later and I only have 1 video to show for it. Truth is, nothing really went to plan for me this summer. Without going into too much detail, life happens. No bad without the good, no good without the bad. I really hope I'm overdue for some of the latter.
No, I don't think I'll ever quit Youtube, I'll always be working on videos but for the time being I can't promise a consistent upload schedule. I'm sorry.
