Today we look at all Valorant Agents and their abilities. Formerly known as Project A, it's a free-to-play tactical FPS from Riot Games. It’s a A 5v5 character-based shooter -- similar to CS:GO. Valorant heroes -- known as Agents -- have their own special abilities, like Overwatch, or Apex Legends. The game focuses on gunplay first, while Valorant character abilities are used tactically, in a support role. You don’t kill with your abilities, you create opportunities to win. It’s set to be released summer, 2020. We'll look at all eight Valorant Agents in-depth -- with as much detail as possible, given the information that’s been released thus far -- and each of their four abilities.

In Valorant, there are eight announced Agents: Phoenix, Sage, Viper, Cypher, Brimestone, Sova, Omen, and Jett. Agents have four unique abilities: Two “regular abilities,” that can be purchased prior to the start of each round, one signature ability that -- while some have reported needs to be bought like the regular abilities -- seems to be given to you for free at the start of each round. During gameplay -- after the signature ability is used -- it either goes on a timed cooldown, or can be recharged during the match by getting a certain number of kills, depending on the Agent. The fourth ability for each agent is their ultimate ability, which can be used after acquiring a certain number of charges. These charges are obtained by collecting orbs in the map during gameplay. Some people have also suggested these charges can be obtained by getting kills in game, but we haven’t been able to confirm this.
