This is my father's Kenwood TR-7950 2 meter FM ham radio, that he bought new no later than 1986. Going to do a once over and replace the memory battery but, it is the original and still working and saving memories since 1986 !! In part 1 of a two part series we unbox, power up and verify some issues...and verify the memories still hold 35 years later with the best battery ever !
