Climbing Eldorado Peak's Knife Edge in the North Cascades National Park

Eldorado Peak in the North Cascades National Park comes in at #25 on Washington's Bulger list. Eldorado Peak's summit stands at 8,864 ft tall offering tremendous views of the surrounding peaks.

We decided to climb Eldorado Peak in one day as a car to car adventure. The thought of carrying the camping gear up the steep ascent was enough to make us opt against it.

We got an early start, and overall it took us around 16 hours with plenty of stops for breaks and pictures. It's an incredible climb, but definitely challenging. Wouldn't recommend for the faint of heart or beginners.
