The new Greek gods: Constantine II’s glamorous grandchildren have it all

The descendants of Constantine II, the last king of Greece, may no longer rule officially, but the dynasty is far from dead. Who needs Greece when you have New York, London, St. Moritz, Paris and the Bahamas? Crown Prince Pavlos and his wife, Crown Princess Marie-Chantal, are the king and queen of society. They rule from their Upper East Side mansion in Manhattan, and three of their five children also live in New York: the two youngest, 18-year-old Prince Odysseas-Cimon and 14-year-old Prince Aristides-Stavros, and 22-year-old Prince Achilleas-Andreas, who attends New York University. Prince Constantine-Alexios, 24 (aka "Tino," a Georgetown graduate and godson of the Prince of Wales) shuttles between New York and London, where he "always has a table" at The Box, and Princess Mary-Olympia, 26, lives in Notting Hill. Every day at 7:30 a.m. sharp, the MC leaves her Manhattan home to walk her dog in the park and then have breakfast with her family. She is "organized, calm and in control... and doesn't tolerate fools," says close friend Taki Theodorakopoulos. By day she designs a line of children's clothing, and later she can be found dining at Eli's and Gina La Fornarina or the Balthazar wine bar. What does the MC prefer? Piskine is champagne with ice cubes. But the Greeks are real transatlantic.
