Prince Harry's decision to change his official residence to the US "clearly finalises" his "split" from Britain but there is still one thing which remains unclear, according to a royal expert.
The Duke of Sussex appears to have updated his records in Britain, listing the US as his primary residence.
In documents filed on Monday at Companies House for his sustainable tourism charity Travalyst, the duke, using his full name Prince Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex listed the United States as his "new country/state usually resident".
The date of change listed is June 29, 2023 - the same day Buckingham Palace confirmed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had vacated their former UK residence, Frogmore Cottage.
