Moving to Europe: Portugal, Italy, Spain, or France?

Where should you live in Europe? That was the big question we asked ourselves when we decided to move abroad. Moving to Portugal last year was a big decision, but it wasn’t the only country we considered. We also researched moving to France, Spain, and Italy. So why did we choose to move to Portugal from the U.S.?

We think Portugal, France, Spain and Italy are among the best countries to live in Europe. To choose the best country to live in based on what was most important to us, we spent more than a year researching and comparing Portugal to France, Italy, and Spain.
