Sloan Optima Flushometer | Diaphragm | Repair and Replace

In this episode of Repair and Replace, Vance shows how to replace the diaphragm in a Sloan Optima, Solis or Ecos Flush Valve. This applies to both commercial toilets (water closets) and urinals.

The bypass hole size is extremely important for proper metering of water. Continuous flushing can occur if the bypass hole is blocked. If the hole has been enlarged, it can cause short flushing.
