8515 was the first of this batch of Nova Bus LFS buses to enter service in Queens, and was the start of these new buses making their way into the system. These buses were supposed to kick out the Orion VII Hybrids from QV, but that may is on hold due to the rapid retirement of the RTS fleet.

What you'll see here are exterior videos of this bus on the Q43 & Q46, and interior ride videos along the Q1 route. These buses are powered by a Cummins L9 engine with a ZF Ecolife 6AP1400B Transmission. I gotta say, whatever changes they did with these buses compared to the 2014-2016 LFS batch....they did good! These ride much smoother and doesn't take bumps and such as hard as the 8090-8503 batch of buses.
