About Us

Tegan (26) and Dylan (29) met one night on their yearly hockey pub crawl. Dylan was dressed as William Wallace with a matching accent and Tegan thought “why is that guy talking in gibberish?” it was obviously enough to lure her into a date, and things took off from there.

Their first taste of vanlife came in the form of their much loved (and missed) Nelly - a 1995 Ford transit “Autosleeper”. She was only About 5m long but had a high ceiling, kitchen & oven, bathroom, and a fold out bed that was just big enough to make them feel at home as we cruised around the UK and Europe. This adventure lasted us almost two years but towards the end - after many long walks, warm swims, snowy days, good food, and kind people - we were ready to head home to NZ and see if there was a way to upgrade our travelling Lifestyle.

Insert Bobbie (The Bougie Bus)
She’s a 1998 Toyota Coaster and came to us as she had always been; a 27 seater ski shuttle bus working on the mountains in Queenstown. But she had good bones and we had the vision, We quickly bought her and drove back to Auckland with our minds racing. Fast forward almost 2 years of converting her on the weekends and spare time, and she’s a fully functional home on wheels - with a bit of added Luxury

Now having travelled for a year in her, we’re ready for our next challenge…big things to come and we can’t wait for it to unfold!
