Apparently, moviegoers are shunning Kevin Costner’s new film, Horizon: An American Saga (Chapter One). In investing his own money to produce, direct, and star in Horizon and three sequels, Costner counted on the Yellowstone fanbase showing up to the theater. The results are in: The film that cost $100 million to make earned only $11 million in its opening weekend and has earned just $23 million to date. Consequently, New Line Cinema and Territory Pictures have decided to pull Horizon Chapter Two from its theatrical release. Chapter One will now be available on July 16 via Premium Video on Demand.
