While every love story is different, at one point or another, they all eventually reach a falling out period or what some call a “rough patch”. In an instant, years of love can become a distant memory. Jonathan and Hailey have finally reached that point and just like these no-talking periods, there is no dialogue highlighting all the feelings one goes through alone during this time. Through a split-screen, we watch the effects it has on them as individuals as time goes by as well as just how their two stories still connect into one even though they are separated at the same time.
