(0 –10 seconds) Have you ever found a rental house where the price seemed too good to be true? I just experienced that firsthand. I moved into a simple, cheap rental house located in a narrow alley, just looking for an affordable place to live. At first, everything seemed normal, like I’d just scored a great deal. However, there was one massive red flag. When the landlord handed over the keys, he gave me one very specific and bizarre warning: "Whatever you do, don't ever open the door to the third bedroom. It's empty, just used for storage."

(10 –20 seconds) Of course, "empty" would be the last word I'd use to describe it now. On my very first night staying there, I couldn't sleep at all. Just after midnight, I started to hear sounds coming from behind that locked door. There were soft, gentle footsteps. They were incredibly faint, as if someone was slowly pacing back and forth, walking very carefully inside that supposedly empty room. I tried to convince myself it was just the old pipes settling or maybe rats, but the sound was too rhythmic, too... human.

(20–30 seconds) The next morning, my fear only intensified. The tile floor right in front of that bedroom door was slightly dusty, and sitting clearly on top of that thin layer of dust, I found physical evidence: there were small footprints. They were tiny, like those of a child. This made absolutely no sense. The main problem is, I live in this house completely alone. No one else has a key, and there is no way anyone could have gotten in or out of that locked room.

(30– 41 seconds) Feeling terrorized in my own home, I decided to install a CCTV camera in the hallway, aimed directly at that cursed door. I had to know what was really happening. What I discovered on the footage the next day made my blood run cold. At exactly 3:00 AM, the footage shows the third bedroom door opening all by itself, swinging open incredibly slowly and silently. Inside the pitch-black room, a silhouette of a person was visible, standing with its back to the camera. The figure stood motionless for a moment, and then, with a slow, jerky motion, it turned its entire body to face the lens directly. It... smiled.
