Blocking, rigging, art, depth, efficiency - these are all things that are affected by the location that you're filming in. The location scout is as important as it is underrated. It's where some of the biggest decisions in your scene and story get made. How do we light the scene? Where should the actors come from? Where do we put all the equipment? What you end up talking about during this meeting between your key creatives will affect how your shoot day will run.
