Beloved Weatherman Fritz Coleman & Comedian Jared Freid

Former weathercaster and comedian Fritz Coleman joins Adam on the show today, as they discuss the wild, non-linear paths that our lives can take. Fritz was offered the weatherman position, a job he kept for 40 years in Los Angeles, all because of a night that he did a stand-up show. Plus, Adam has a great story from his youth of a creative way that he’d make money, just so he could go see a movie at a classic Hollywood movie theater. Next Adam welcomes comedian and podcaster Jared Freid as they disagree and debate a range of topics, but find common ground on the belief that the only people who see the entire country, beyond stereotypes, are comedians and politicians. Oh, and Adam and Jared bond by singing a song together.
Next, Chris presents the news, beginning with the potential fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, where they mention any proceeds will be gifted to veterans. Also, there’s a Seattle museum that likes Harry Potter, but wants to scrub J.K. Rowling’s name from an exhibit.
