LEARNING JAZZ LATER IN LIFE (So much to know, so little time…)

Описание к видео LEARNING JAZZ LATER IN LIFE (So much to know, so little time…)

A person of any age who is learning to play jazz music is faced with a daunting array of things one supposedly needs to learn. An adult in mid-life or retirement may be freed of the stress and anxiety that comes with a young person’s aspirations of building a career, and can focus on learning to play music for the sheer joy of it. But they may find the learning process to be slower and may also be mindful of the fact that they have less time ahead of them to acquire the musical skills they seek. These thoughts are voiced in some of the comments that form the basis for this discussion; thanks to everybody who left one! (If you are in a younger demographic, there is good information for you here too.)
