Leaf Tip Burn - LECA Basics 101 // Nutrient Burn

Almost always, leaf tip burn is associated with too much chemical (inorganic/snythetic) nutrient. It can also be caused by chlorine/chloramines, and or pH issues, but tends to be more rare. Whatever the case is, rinse your media with plain filtered water to get rid of the mineral build up.
