Ten finalists competed for BroadwaySpotted's Next Big Star live at The Davenport Theatre (354 West 45 Street New York, NY 10036) for the title of 'Next Big Star' and a $500 Grand Prize. The evening was hosted by Rock Audition Guru, Sheri Sanders (Rock The Audition).
The audience and a panel of celebrity guest judges chose the winner. Joining Tony Award Winning Producer Ken Davenport (Mothers and Sons, Kinky Boots, The Bridges of Madison County, Macbeth - starring Alan Cumming, Godspell) at the judge's table were Georgia Stitt (This Ordinary Thursday), Cesar Rocha (Telsey + Company) and acclaimed voice teacher Robert Sussuma. The contest was held at the Davenport Theatre (www.davenporttheatre.com) May 22nd at 7pm.

BroadwaySpotted's Next Big Star was a collaboration between BroadwaySpotted and Davenport Theatrical Enterprises , produced by Kayla Greenspan & Victor Legra. The Davenport Theatre (formerly the 45th Street Theatre and re-named in memory of producer Delbert Essex Davenport), recently underwent major renovations to better serve the needs of the Off-Broadway producing and theatergoing community featuring two new theatres.
