Hyderabad is getting a major infrastructure boost with a new 81 km Greenfield road from Budvel to Kosgi.

The Telangana government has initiated plans to construct a four-lane Greenfield road from Budvel (near Rajendranagar) to Kosgi on NH-167, spanning nearly 81 kilometers. A consultant has been appointed to prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR), marking a major step forward in Hyderabad’s future infrastructure expansion.
Initially planned only up to Pargi, the road alignment has now been extended to include more regions, ensuring better connectivity between Outer Ring Road (ORR) and the proposed Regional Ring Road (RRR). As part of a larger vision, the government plans to develop 12 to 16 radial roads, widening existing roads at 22 ORR junctions and constructing new Greenfield corridors.
This connectivity is expected to fuel rapid growth of new residential layouts, industrial zones, and commercial hubs between ORR and RRR. Real estate experts predict that land values and investment demand along this corridor will rise sharply in the coming years.
