Disgusting Cabin And Turbulence | Pegasus Airlines Trip-report |SAW-CPH| Airbus A320 (economy)

Описание к видео Disgusting Cabin And Turbulence | Pegasus Airlines Trip-report |SAW-CPH| Airbus A320 (economy)

Thanks for joining me on this pegasus airlines flight from Istanbul sabiha airport to Copenhagen. Mixed feelings about this airline. I've hade excellent and horrible flights with them. There is no consistancy. It's pure luck. But for a Low cost airline it was much better than other budget airlines in Europe. Their policies are in my opinion more in favor of the passanger.

This review is not only based on the flight i reviewd in the video. I've flown pegasus before and this is a combined opinion.

The airport experience at Sabiha was extremely underwhelming. You would imagine that the secondary airport of a big city like Istanbul would be fairly decent but it’s far from that. Every airport worker I encountered including Pegasus service agents were rude and didn’t understand or speak English. Many flights were cancelled and people were left stranded all over the airport with no assistance. Pegasus had agents all over the airport but they were literally useless. The only word to describe them is hooligans. They were disrespectful to every passenger.

The security officers at the airport were equally rude and incompetent as the Pegasus agents. They didn’t inspect bags passing the x-ray scan and let through 1/3 of the people who were flagged by the scan without even a pat down.

When check-in opened people queued up to the desks shown on the screen but we were sent around for no apparent reason. Every time we would be sent around we would have to queue up again and it took us more than 50 minutes standing in queues to get checked in. In contrast in Copenhagen airport the check-in took only 5 minutes. The agents ignored people and didn’t answer question. People were ordered to offload from bags over 20kg although they had baggage allowances of well more than 20kg. The customer service claimed that the maximum weight of one luggage was 32kg but it seems like the agents in the airport are unaware of company policies. During check-in no one was asked to provide any covid related documents. Anyone onboard could’ve been infected and no one would’ve been the wiser. My friend on the contrary was denied boarding last time he flew with Pegasus because he didn’t have a negative test. He was also flying to Denmark and Denmark didn’t require negative test upon arrival.

Onboard the plane we were met by disgusting and filthy seats. The plastic seats were so cheap and uncomfortable that they didn’t recline and would shake every time someone would walk down the isle. Can’t imagine how these seats would survive a crash landing. Mind you that sliding off of runways seems to be a Pegasus specialty. For more search for flight PC8622, PC747 or PC193. The seats were narrow, hard and the legroom was horrible but I guess that’s what you would expect from a low cost company. The crew were not so passionate about their jobs and didn’t show any friendliness. They looked people up and down and were sometimes rude.
How Pegasus treated their guests both onboard the plane and at the airport is by every means unacceptable. They boldly played a pre recorded announcement before the flight about how they excessively and thoroughly deep clean their aircraft according to international guidelines but the aircraft that operated our flight seemed to not have been cleaned since it entered service.

I would urge you to avoid Sabiha airport all together. I would also recommend considering Turkish airlines. Turkish gives you free meals, drinks and snacks. You get free inflight entertainment and much higher baggage allowance per person. On Pegasus you would have to pay separately for all of that. Sometimes Turkish airlines tickets are cheaper than Pegasus. From now on I’ll stick to Turkish!

Tip: I highly recommend you bring your own snacks and meals onto the plane.
