In this episode of Minutes With, Nathalie Schöffmann recounts her horrifying experience of surviving a kidnapping. Nathalie, a professional triathlete, was cycling in her Austrian hometown when she was suddenly hit by a car, beaten and bundled into the car's boot by her kidnapper. Nathalie was held hostage by a stranger for nearly nine hours in his woodland home, as he tried to enact a 'date' scenario. The man forced Nathalie to drink wine and have a bath with him, beating her if she did not comply. In this episode, Nathalie tells us about the conversation that allowed her to finally escape and explains why she has empathy for the man who abducted her.
