Over the course of galactic history, there have been many Jedi splinter groups, with the Sith being the most notable example. But there was one little known Jedi splinter group that rivalled the Sith in terms of its evil. Known as the Order of the Terrible Glare, they allied themselves with a xenophobic human cult that had taken over the republic called Pius Dea. After the Pius Dea were defeated by the Jedi, the Order of the Terrible Glare transferred themselves into computers to gain immortality. Over the course of 10,000 years they would set deadly traps for many hundred of unsuspecting Jedi. Eventually Luke would encounter them, telling their leader the Jedi were now extinct. Now without a purpose, their leader blew up their stronghold in a fit of rage, ending this racist Jedi order for good.
