Secrets of Ferndell Trail: A Hidden Gem in Griffith Park

Join me on a short hike as we explore the enchanting Ferndell Trail. Nestled within Griffith Park, this trail offers a captivating journey surrounded by tropical foliage and sycamore trees. The trail is only about a quarter of a mile long, next to a burbling stream. The stream cascades along the hard-packed, dirt path with multiple, mini waterfalls. Midway in the hike, the stream feeds a shallow pond, teeming with turtles, fish and goldfish. Prepare to be transported into a realm where the concrete jungle of Los Angeles disappears, replaced with the beauty of nature.
