The short-lived Iranian dynasty of Ancient India

Описание к видео The short-lived Iranian dynasty of Ancient India

Indo-Parthians or Pahlavas emerged as a powerful force at the start of the common era. It was under their king Gondophares, the Indo-Parthians destroyed the Shakas or Indo-Scythians. But this Iranian Empire of Ancient India was short-lived. We find that after the death of Gondophares, the Indo-Parthians lost control of most of the Empire to the Kushanas. In this video, I talk about the rise of the Indo-Parthians and their eventual decline.
